UCN RADIO

Dear Ugandans and friends in the Netherlands

Recently the Ugandan Community in the Netherlands invested in acquiring an online community radio. This came as a result of many calls and suggestions from community members to have the radio platform introduced to further ease on communication, awareness and integration.

Today, the Uganda Community radio Netherlands (http://ucn2014.nl/ucn-radio/) is fully operational and will be launched at a colorful occasion in October. The radio is available for download in the App store for apple gadgets and on Google play for all the Android gadgets. In additional, the radio will be available on "Tune in" the world online radio platform shortly.

In more developments, we are pleased to announce the appointment of the operational team that will run the radio with effect from 01st of August 2015. Mr. Amazia Stephane Dradenya will head the team in the capacity of UCN Radio Coordinator. He will be responsible for all the ins and outs of the radio. Reporting to the UCN Radio coordinator, Mr. Kenneth Muyingo will be the UCN Radio programs manager. He will be responsible for planning and structuring all the programs. Mr. Paul Junior Kabenge (Selector Paul) and Mr. Collins Mpenje will be the UCN Radio technical managers. The two bring to the radio a wealth of knowledge and experience gained during their former employments.
